Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Kazim Huseynaliyev met with Sergey Kostrov, General Director of Russia-based Volzhsky Abrasive Plant JSC, Nigar Asgarova, Founder and Director of Zenith Group LLC, as well as representatives of the aforementioned companies.
During the meeting, information was provided on the activities of Volzhsky Abrasive Plant JSC and Zenith Group LLC and the projects they are implementing. The possibilities of implementing a new investment project in the Autonomous Republic and prospects for cooperation in the industrial sector were discussed.
Minister Kazim Huseynaliyev noted that expanding industrial production, attracting new investments, and establishing export-oriented enterprises in Nakhchivan are among the key priorities. It was noted that the favorable business environment created for investors in the Autonomous Republic, the incentives in place, and state support mechanisms provide opportunities for the implementation of new projects. In this regard, the importance of the Nakhchivan Industrial Park, whose foundation was laid by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on August 11, was emphasized.
The meeting continued with an exchange of views on prospects for further cooperation.
