On February 10, a meeting was held with entrepreneurs in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, within the framework of a visit by a delegation from the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The main purpose of the event was to provide entrepreneurs with detailed information about the Nakhchivan Industrial Park, as well as to present the investment opportunities offered by the park, the incentive mechanisms applied, and its business prospects.
In his speech, the Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Kazim Huseynaliyev, noted that consistent measures are being implemented in the autonomous republic to support the development of entrepreneurship, accelerate industrialization, and improve the investment climate. The Minister emphasized that the Nakhchivan Industrial Park will play an important role in expanding production in the region, creating new jobs, and promoting export-oriented manufacturing.
Subsequently, Seymur Adigozalov, Chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, provided detailed information about the Agency’s areas of activity, investment incentives, opportunities created for residents, and public–private partnership mechanisms.
At the end of the meeting, Emil Hajiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency, delivered a presentation on “Business Opportunities in the Nakhchivan Industrial Park.” The presentation also highlighted the investment incentives applied to residents, tax and customs exemptions, and opportunities for stimulating export-oriented production.
The meeting was held in an interactive format, entrepreneurs’ questions were answered, and issues of interest to business entities intending to operate in the Nakhchivan Industrial Park were discussed.
