It has been 36 years since the events of 20 January 1990, which went down in the history of Azerbaijan as the January 20 Tragedy (Black January). 20 January – the National Day of Mourning is a symbol of deep respect for the sacred memory of our heroic martyrs.
The leadership and staff of the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and its subordinate institutions visited the Martyrs’ Alley, paying tribute to the cherished memory of those who lost their lives for the freedom and independence of our Motherland. Floral wreaths were laid on the graves of the martyrs.
May Allah have mercy on all our martyrs.
