An online meeting was held to discuss the work carried out to organize the activities of Nakhchivan Industrial Park and the measures planned for implementation.
The meeting was attended by Kazim Huseynaliyev, Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Seymur Adigozalov, Chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and representatives of both institutions.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the work carried out to establish the necessary infrastructure at Nakhchivan Industrial Park, the current state of progress, as well as applications submitted by local and foreign investors for resident status and the procedures for reviewing these applications.
An agreement was reached to establish a dedicated Working Group to improve operational efficiency in coordinating activities and facilitating information exchange.
It should be noted that Nakhchivan Industrial Park was established by a Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 5, 2024, and its foundation stone was laid by the President on August 11, 2026.
The main objectives of establishing the Industrial Park are to expand the production and export of industrial products in Nakhchivan, attract investment, develop modern manufacturing facilities, and create new employment opportunities.
